The Formula One season is back! Well technically it was back like a few weeks ago :p I am just a little lagging behind. Last year, I was given free tickets to go for the Formula One from Inti. Cool huh? But after that experience last year, I thought it was much better to be watching Formula One through the tv rather than be at the circuit myself.
Reason number 1.
The noise from the car is so loud and deafening, it was like torture everytime the car passed by. (to some of my friends they said it was a 'syok' feeling. 'Syok' feeling? They must enjoy being tortured or something. :p SM sm Sm..)
Reason number 2.
You only see the car like 63 times? If the race is 63 laps, you see them only 63 laps >.< Ain't it better to be at the TV where you can see them throughout the race.
It's like...who's first now? Brooooooom....Don't know what happened. Lol.
Other than that, It was hot but I didn't mind much about that. Everything else is pretty much fine if you don't mind the :) I thought that time once was enough for me, just to have the 'experience'.

This year, at first I thought unfortunately I had to go for the Formula One experience again. Why I said unfortunately? Actually my dad got the 4 free tickets but I didn't want to go actually but since my family haven't been before. So it wouldn't be nice if I was the only one that didn't go. So I felt obliged to follow. In the end, it was actually fortunate that I went!

When I reached Sepang at about 1-2pm plus. It was sunny but after awhile it suddenly rained cats, dogs and monkeys, I tell you. The weather was so unpredictable. Even this few days, it might be sunny one moment but the next moment it might rain. So this year I was not soaked in sweat but I was soaked in rain water.

The seats that I got this year was pretty cool. We were seated near the starting point of the race which is the final straight of the circuit. So we got to see all of them get ready for the race. Rushing around with the tyres, getting drinks for the driver. I have to say the drivers are treated like a king! It's a whole new experience sitting this part of the circuit compared to the ones I sat last year.

Usually races few seasons back have always been dominated by Ferari and McLaren but this season it's pretty interesting. Newly formed Brawn GP team seems to be domanating the first two races this season. Brawn GP is sponsored majorly by one of my most favourite person, Sir Richard Branson of Virgin brand label. Go search him up and you will know why he is my most favourite person. :)
Anyway not to forget, the car looks great. (Neon Green FTW!) I am an instant fan of Brawn this season, with Jenson Button as the front man. He's full of potential and hopefully it's his year this time :)

Half way through the race, I was wishing for A LITTLE rain to make the race more interesting but OMG! It rained alright and it rained until the race had to be stopped. Ok, now I regret for wishing for that when the race was not going to continue. >.< I was hoping to see Jenson's car go pass the chequed flag and do his victory lap :(

Eventhough the race was halted at halfway point of the race, I still had fun. It was a good idea for the organizers to put the race later so that other people around the world can tune into the race. For Malaysians, it's also much cooler than having a 2pm race but I guess the organizers forgot to put in consideration the rainy season now. Oh well, I hope one day Malaysia will turn into a night race :D that would be so awesome.

Just a little pointers, if you are planning to go for the Formula one race next year.
Pointer Number 1
Bring ear plugs. Don't listen to people's nonsense that it's not that loud and it's part of the experience. >.< Yes, beginning it's really nice but after the 10th lap, you are going to be dying to have earplugs. (don't get conned by RM20 earplugs :S)
So bring earplugs or headphones or earphones.

Pointer Number 2
Eat before you come. If possible smuggle some light snacks and water. The food over there is very 'cheap' >.< RM25 for every set there. RM5 for water or soft drinks.

There you go. Just some pointers I learnt during this race.
Oh ya I sometimes wonder what if I had a Ferari car in Malaysia. It would be so fun driving it. I can speed so quickly. BUt I guess probably it's useless in Malaysia. Why?
