Biggest Shock?

I guess as many of you have seen. I guess you are as shocked and touched as I am after seeing her sing in British's Got Talent. For those who don't know, let me keep you updated to the current news. It's currently spreading like wildfire on the internet. Just few minutes ago it was posted on the front of yahoo and her video on youtube has 24million views and day by day still getting more views.



This shock is 47 year old Susan Boyle. I have to say the phrase "Don't judge the book by it's cover" is the best phrase to describe her. When she stood up there, everyone was laughing at her. When she said "she wanted to be like Elaine Paige", everyone gave her weird stares and laughs but when she sang. (Elaine Paige is famous for the song Memory from the musical Cats if you didn't know) No one laughed, no one was giving weird faces to her. They were all amazed, humbled and gave her a standing ovation.



I have to say what the judges said is so true except for Simon Cowell of course. :p Amanda pointed out that everyone was being very cynical to her and it was indeed a big wake up call for us not to always judge a book by it's cover.




It put a big smile on my face after watching the video. Seeing people laugh at her and then seeing them feeling guilty after that but in the end it put a big smile on everyone's face. She touched my heart because she put a smile on everyone's face even mine and she was so humble about it. No one expected that.

So I do hope as Amanda said, this should be a wake up call for everyone. I hope everyone will learn a lesson from this video and do not be so judgmental of people based solely on their look.
