Main Masak Masak : Chicken Cheese Chop (not Halal)

Hey hey people!

Happy New Year!

A new year, a new beginning? That's how I would to think of it.

How did you spend you new year's eve?

I spent mine at my home with a few close friends at my cosy home and pop up a bottle of wine, that's just the way I would like to spend my new year's eve. Don't really enjoy rubbing people's shoulders in public new year parties or those crowded shopping malls.

Sadly, we didn't take many photos of the bbq party and the food, but I will upload the ones that we took after Pearly pass the photos to me.

Cel buried under a bunch of pillows!

Anyway this post is suppose to be a masak masak post. Basically, we had a lot of left overs from the other nights bbq, so of course I have to finish it up in the end on the next day. Mum taught me how to make this seasoning. I didn't take photos when I seasoned it but this are the ingredients.

1. Brandy (X0)
2. Lea & Perin sauce
3. Ginger juice (tumbuk the ginger, a small piece of ginger will do)
4. Black pepper
5. Salt
6. Sugar

Main ingredients definitely the XO and ginger :D

Let the chicken marinade in the fridge for at least 4-6hours.

The result..

Heat up the pan with a low fire and put some oil.
Add some onions for the aroma.

Put in the chicken, cook it until it's slightly brown and check if the meat is cooked with a fork :)

Before you take out the chicken, add a piece of cheddar cheese on the chicken and let the cheese melt.
Then take it out.

Ta!DAH! It is ready to be eaten. Sorry about my poor presentation skill. That day i was just cooking for myself. So I gotten very sloppy and lazy to add any garnish.

You can also eat it with some butter vegetables or coleslaw. :)

Usually my family likes to eat it with a tortilla wrap and then toast it.

Not exactly a proper masak masak post but oh well, I will do better in future :)

P/s : Perth post is up next, going to put it up tomorrow :D

Yours Truly,
The one and only,
